Music Of The Night

Music of the Night is a musical feast showcasing a rich menu of the most beautiful and engaging classical, music theatre and pop pieces ever written. Performed by six captivating and powerful singers, Music of the Night journeys the full musical spectrum from classic pieces including Va Pensiero by Giuseppe Verdi to music theatre pieces including Some Enchanted Evening by Rodgers and Hammerstein to classic pop with We Are The Champions by Queen.

Each piece in this musical smorgasbord is handpicked for its beauty, emotion and ability to transport audiences to a heavenly realm.

Music of the Night producer, Hao Zhou says “I originally designed this program for a performance in Darwin to 3,000 people. It was so popular that I decided to showcase the program across Australia. In designing the program I wanted to create a truly memorable performance full of energy and passion. I wanted audiences to feel as if they were being taken on a journey.

As an opera singer, performing sometimes in front of thousands of people, I know what it is to hold audiences in a state of rapture and joy.

This program has been designed to move seamlessly between classical, music theatre and contemporary pop.”

Music of the Night showcases six contemporary Australian performers all of whom have worked with Hao Zhou on similar projects both in Australia and internationally.
